My Debut Cookbook is HERE!

Eat with Afia invites readers into Ghanaian kitchens past and present with a vibrant, transportive collection that extends beyond recipes

The goal of the cookbook is to explore the diverse cuisines of Ghana through the lense of culture, science and history with deep dives into

  1. Staple ingredients (pantry ingredients, fruit and vegetables, spices) and their history, scientific roots or connection to Ghana’s diverse climate.
  2. Essential food processing techniques such as fermentation
  3. Foundational cooking techniques
    1. Preparing the best Ghanaian style jollof rice
    2. Mastering the art of fufu and other staple/hand held  foods
    3. Diverse collection of plant based friendly soups that reflect diverse culinary traditions across Ghana
    4. Integrating indigenous Ghanaian ingredients into popular staple foods, drinks and snacks
  4. Personal anecdotes that shaped my cooking experience

While all recipes are 100% plant based, most of these recipes required no modification to make plant based speaking to the plant forward roots of Ghanaian cooking. Every recipe comes with an accompanying photo, with technical recipes including multiple process photos to help you succeed.

If you pre-order, you will be getting a collection of extra recipes, soon to come
